What’s holding you back?
The last time I checked, we aren't getting any
younger. I used to think I had all the time in the world to travel. I come from
a family (on both sides) of travelers and relocators. I told myself,
"Self? I am going to travel someday". And I did. Around the United
States. Over and over. Messed around and moved to New York City and one after
one I met folk who were going all over the world. I wanted to be that chick.
"How can I do THAT?", I asked myself.
I answered myself. I prayed. I figured it out.
And I did it. Took a few years but I decided I was not going to let my fear of
having to travel by myself remove me from the opportunity to see the world God
put here. I had to renew my mind. I told myself that I must let my mind exceed
my money. And that is what I did.
So, this is the beginning of a whole new blog
that I’m writing. Took a few days to produce content and see how I can get it
to the masses to revisit their thoughts on traveling. It doesn’t matter if you
leave the country or leave the neighborhood. It doesn’t matter if you travel
with family & friends or alone. The time has come for us to get out of our
comfort zones in one way or another. What does the world have to offer? What
journey would you like to take (Google, Bing and YouTube do not count...lol).
Consider a world view you may not possess at
present. Read my blog and take a few moments to say, “old Tiff may be onto
something here.” What’s holding you back?
